Make Science Great Again

What this campaign is about

Make Science Great Again puts climate scientists back in front of a general audience — in full, in their own words, and often enough that their work becomes part of the public conversation rather than a footnote to it. It combines long-form broadcast interviews, rapid response to disinformation, and a direct route into the rooms where climate policy is negotiated.

Why it is needed

Researchers are being defunded, discredited and shouted down at precisely the moment their findings matter most. Meanwhile the way science reaches the public has narrowed: a single quoted line, stripped of the reasoning that produced it, is easy to dismiss and easy to distort. A scientist who can only speak in one sentence cannot defend their work. Given a room, they can.

What have we achieved so far

Since launching in Paris in 2025, we have taken the campaign to COP30, Davos, the UN General Assembly, climate weeks in London and New York, and the Vatican.

Thousands of people standing up for science have been seen with our caps, including scientists and leaders such as Spain’s prime minister, the COP president, Al Gore and King Charles III.
