What this campaign is about
Energy Efficiency Action brings the world's central energy-efficiency conversation to a public audience. We are the official broadcast hub of the IEA's Global Conference on Energy Efficiency —and we report on efficiency between conferences, when nobody else is looking. The campaign is built with partners across the energy and industrial sector.
Why it is needed
Efficiency is the largest cheap abatement available this decade and the least covered. It has no ribbon-cutting, no launch photograph and no obvious villain, so it loses every contest for attention to things that photograph better. The room where efficiency policy is actually set holds several hundred energy ministers and chief executives, and almost no cameras.
